Guangdong Oppo Mobile Telecommunications Corp., Ltd known as OPPO, a Chinese consumer electronics and mobile communications company is situated in Dongguan, Guangdong. Oppo manufactures and sells smartphones, smart devices, audio devices, power banks, Blu-ray players, and other electronic products. OPPO’s belief is “Human for mankind, kindness for the world.
The brand name “Oppo” had been registered in China in 2001 and had been launched in 2004.Since then, Oppo started expanding to more than 40 countries.In June 2016, OPPO had become the biggest smartphone manufacturer in China, which sold its phones at more than 200,000 retail outlets.OPPO became the top smartphone brand in China in 2019 and ranked No. 5, in market share, worldwide.
In 2014, OPPO had released a number of high end headphones and amplifiers. The flagship PM-1 and PM-2 headphones along with the HA-1 desktop amplifier were promoted in the audio community. One blogger declared the PM-1 is “near to perfect”.OPPO had launched its first smartwatch, the OPPO Watch, on 6 March 2020 in the Chinese domestic market.
